Guys follow this twitter account - @SamsungFirmware . Seems like BADA ver 1.0.2 is out now in the form of XXJH1 . God knows when Samsung India will make it available for us.

i think 8GB is insufficient for the wave, I would recommend getting a 16GB card

on windows 7 it show not update available will check it on windows XP will u you know

have not tried it since it required XXJF7 first and mine is JF1

as pointed out by yogi7272, XXJH1 is the latest firmware & it is based on bada 1.0.2.

Guys check this out, All the available Asian firmwares are in GREEN

S8500 -

Just download the desired Firmware and the Multiuploader can be used to flash the firmware on the wave .

Even if you flash a firmware to something like for ex. S8500DXJE9, and if you dont like it then reflash it with S8500DDJE7 which can later be updated to JF2 via kies.

I havent flashed my wave yet, so if you plan to then please do it at your own risk.
You can flash it but you might not be able to make calls. if it doesent work, it can be reflashed to s8500ddje7. NPS is New Pc Studio. Ignore it as we use Kies.

Hello, guys iam planning to buy samsung wave but at my place shops are quoting 18.5k, which i think its a bit high, at univercell.in its 17.3k is this site reliable? Has any 1 from this site bought from univercell? I am planing to buy next week. Also can anybody help me in buying and shipping it to me?

well the firmware is region specific.. DD is the code for India... Im not sure if the other firmwares would work properly in India. The SVC guy said it would not.

Managed to flash my Wave to XXJG6 .. everything seems to be working fine. Will report if I find any issues..

ARE YOU GUYS ABSOLUTELY N POSITIVELY SURE THAT THERE IS A BLACK COLOR available for wave ???????????????? no where i have seen a pic for 1.. all ebony gray color pics
