Samsung Wave S8500 India release

^^I am on 1.2 [S8500XXJK1] with internet working just fine.. All you need to do is note down the internet settings before flashing. There are no chances of bricking the phone unless you know what you are doing. Multiloader is so easy to use. BTW S8500DDJE7 Full firmware [indian] with the CSC is available for download so if you are not comfortable with the 1.2 FW the you can switch back to S8500DDJE7.

S8500XXJK1 is a very good firmware and ASPHALT runs smoother and faster than before. And i just love SYWPE !!!

S8500XXJID has to be installed before S8500XXJK1 just incase someone wants to install the update.

I am having another torrid time using KIES.. Damm i cant even use it even to view the apps.
I tried everything like re-installing with India as setting and Hindi as my language, but to no use. I am frustrated..Someone please guide as this is the second time i am getting this error.

U need to install .Net again....... or just update frm Windows Update......

I use to get tht msg all the time....... very frustrating...... but I installed all patches for Windows and also updated Kies..... now there is no problem...... I am on Win 7 Ultimate x64.......
 
Help!!!!

My fone's been bricked!!

Multiloader is unable to find my fone as usb..

also my fone keeps on restarting... its unable to start.

ok, i somehow managed to get my fone back to life by reflashing it using XXJID firmware. But when i try to flash it with XXJK1, the multiloader loads all the files but when my fone reboots, i get an error "Fota2 engine missing, please install it". I tried looking everywhere, but was unable to find it.

Any idea as to how can i remove that error and use XXJK1.

same damn problem i m also facing regarding KIES i am not been able to update my firmware and now not able to dwnload any single apps . I keep on geting error like server unable ... eveen i have turn off my kaspersky .... should i reinstalled kies or format pc and then install kies ??

Thats strange.. i did not encounter that error when i flashed my phone.

The fota file is in the S8500XXJK1 F/W, and not in the XXJID F/W.

Anyway follow this video and do it this way for XXJID:

When applying the S8500XXJK1 update, leave the "BOOT" section unchecked in MULTIUPLOADER and load only the files that are in the downloaded S8500XXJK1 F/W

CSC_S8500_Open_Europe_Common_OXA_XXJK1.csc ,

PFS_S8500_Open_Europe_Common_XXJK1.pfs,

suggest some good headphones which support 5.1 channel which can be used with both wave and my desktop........

was thinking of Roccat Kave but found out that it has 4 different input connectors..... so it wont be useful with wave........(correct me if i am wrong.......:))

It must be similar to Dobly Prologic where it converts 2 channel to 5.1 channel audio.

Probably connect the front(green) cable to the mobile.

It would be a "Home Theater Like" experience not true 5.1
