be happy with the dolphin browser :) it is one of the fastest around seriously..... im not sure about the Li-ON batteries but i charge when it gets to low battery.... hey i was also able to run all those apps wit no issue :)

^^ Cheers....i downloaded both the games and both are good...but NFS Shift is mindblowing ,,,

Actually i was using Opera mini 5 with my Spica and I was pretty much used to it so told,,,

Any site from where i can install JAVA apps on my wave...?

One problem I noticed with the phone is playing youtube videos over wifi and 3G .Over wifi it plays in full high quality but with 3G connection on it plays youtube videos very pixelated and low quailty ..not sure why

@ suji hmmm try getjar.com... and do u know where to get a screenguard for the wave (the proper one made for the wave)? they are available but not sure if they have em in b'lore yet...

No accessories are available for Wave as of now,, me too wanted the screen guard as well as a nice leather pouch for my wave but the sangeeta fellow told me that accessories have not come for it....

Well u told in the GPS issue to connect the phine in the mass storage mode ,,how to do that,,because whenever i try to do that samsung KIES comes back to the option,,,,i have downloaded the Route Sync application from the net...

The route66 app is telling that no device connected....:(

Its detected,,,hey i can see a male as well as female voice link down at the bottom left corner for free download,,,should i download that for the voice aided navigation?

Help me :( I own an iPod 32gb Touch 3rd gen, tried the wave again today and despite its brilliance in playing and recording videos, fast response times, its the similarity thats keeping me away form buying it :( hw do I convince myself for or against it :-/

can any1 upload the NFS shift game to a public file share?
Also did any1 try to download a mp3 file using the default browser?
I received an error "Requested entity too large."

@all

Just got my battery replaced from a service centre today evening, hope this one lasts better. Anyway, the service centre guys in my area have the DDJF1 F/W available. Should i upgrade from my current DDJE7?

BTW , the service centre guys had a wave with them and i inserted my memory card in that wave and found no difference in the movie [ the untouched *.avi one which was having a slightly slow playback on my wave] playback , it was having the same frame rate. Now what should i do ?

i can upload the game but you wont able to install without kies or integrated samsung apps. the phone generates certificates while the installation process .

the default browser downloads pretty well, wat u doing is using your gprs service which carriers has a limit of max bytes downloaded.in a single time. try with wifi

You can download it directly from the Samsung app site, using KIES, even if you dont have the Wave.

I downloaded it and am yet to buy the wave. Will install it when I buy it.

So much for the 1ghz cpu, 512mb ram & gpu etc etc , it cant multitask properly. Camera crashed 3 times ,video player 2 times and the phone itself hanged 2 times till now. Only got it 6 days ago. Something seriously wrong with firmware. And as usual Samsung is continuing their pathetic aftersales support by not releasing new versions quickly. But then what can you expect from a company that did not even support the gem of a device like Omnia Hd.

It only reminds me how Great my N86 is and nokia's quality aftersales support :)

Something must be definately wrong with ur phone,,,me and soumalidon were able to run around ten apps simultaneously,,,i have the phone from the past 4 days,,not a single freeze , hang, crash or low memory issue....

My firmware is JF1 ,,what is urs?

Tried multiple untouched movies,,, mostly DVD Rips,,, the resolution of the movie which i am talking about is 640*272. Also tried *.mkv movies which also have a little slow frame rate compared to the ones i converted in DIVx or xvid format using the converter.

Any movie which is converted with a converter keeping its original resolution into Divx or Xvid format, runs flawlessly with super smooth frame rate on my wave. I am just so confused.

However, even i have been able to run 10 Apps at a time on my wave and the phone has not crashed or freezed even once.

So the only problem u facing is of the lag issue when playing the untouched DVD rips...I have tried 720p videos on my wave,,they played flawlessly,,,

Hows ur battery holding up now...?

@sujithbvm - Mine is same , DDJF1 .. I know its a firmware issue. Hardware front, Wave is excellent :) I am visiting SVC today to sort out those issues..

Yeah, only problem with untouched DVD rips [xvid, Divx, mkv ] . Will test the battery today an let you guys know. Btw how much battery life are u getting and what are your brightness settings?

he has about 15-16k ! recommend any other in this range if this is not good !

@yogi ask them the difference btwn the different firmwares and when they are releasing a new one.

@suji that shield is for the whole phone, its great but i jus want one for the screen. I saw a scratchguard one on ebay for 400 bucks... too lazy to order, waiting for it to come to bang.

Im not facing any video playback issues... DVD rips and 720p works great...
