It is working now but the 2 fiascos that have happened in the past year were really horrible. None of my packages got stuck in July-August but in December 10 packages of mine were in limbo due to their raid/audit issues.

Out of PPO, HopShopGO and SnS which is the most reliable atm? I already have SnS membership and I need to buy something ASAP, so I can't request some of the other sites for a quote.

For me PPO have been the fastest and usually reliable apart from the aforementioned two instances.

Talk about Delhi customs. They are big f**kers. I paid 3436 today for 5K boost moto g phone. Complete rip off. And sns didnt provide me entry bill. Have asked anuradha for the same. I advice do not get it via sns.

I have temporarily stopped using SnS, till they revert to Mumbai for clearing packages. DELHI customs are horrible.

AFAIK Rcom has stopped meid registration permanently. It now intends to sell handsets through shop.rcom.co.in.

UPDATE:

SNS service needs to be banned from this forum ASAP.

Many customers are facing problems with incorrect weight, customs been charged on their parcels.

SNS is currently experiencing organizational changes, and the new staff is useless.

I had recently ordered a phone, and I was charged 4k customs, the phone was bought for 70 USD and the MRP of the phone was 125USD.

After interacting with Anuradha, she said that the customs are charged based on the estimated value which could exceed the MRP.

On asking for a Bill of Entry (BOE), they did not have any answer. These days they are not even providing the custom duty bill.

So therefore, just putting a word of caution, SNS service has gone down completely. SNS is giving a reason that all the shipments are now getting cleared from Delhi instead of Mumbai, therefore, high customs are being charged.

I would request the mods to confirm from other TE members and immediately BAN SNS from this forum.

In addition, could someone suggest a reliable alternative to SNS ?

High customs seems to not only be from SNS, but from iBhejo as well. 300 USD computer parts (2x 4TB WD Reds HDDs) from B&H - I and another friend asked quotes from iShopInternational and iBhejo. iShop gave me 23K all incl, iBhejo - 29K.
