SONY Xperia NXT Series

Looking at the price point it should be MP1 or MP2. But I am not sure. If someone with Funbook runs GPU benchmark like Nenamark 2 then we can compare the scores with Sola, GSII etc.. (Since they have similar resolution - WVGA, FWVGA) and ascertain the no. of GPU cores in the funbook.
But then the clock speeds of the GPU also differ. So this is not a fool proof method.

Nena Innovation AB - NenaMark results
The Funbook scores ~15% more than the Sola in Nenamark2. That must be the GB vs ICS difference. That proves that it is an MP1.

I really like the Xperia P and had an eye on it. Would have picked it up couple of months down the line. But with the pathetic battery life i guess I will have to look elsewhere.

I had a hands-on with Sony and honestly, their TImescape UI is excellent, fluid, and works very well.

Thing is, I havn't got a chance to take Sola in my hands. And It's still 18.5k, hoping it drops to around 16k.

And where are you Galaxy Ace 2?

@comp@ddict Hope that the Galaxy Ace 2 doesn't go the way of the Galaxy W which was never released in India. ;)
Dark Star - Good pricing from HS18 too. Sulekha items are usually from indiaplaza. I would also vote for the white color.

^^Why in the world you need fugly looking phone ? No offence to any sammy user but almost all their phones looks the same , so hard to distinguish in a single looks.

Well, if it's cheaper and has more features and looks normal (it's not fugly, it's not galaxy S3!), well then I'm game.

Else Sola.

Frankly speaking I was disappointed by the entire Sony lineup apart from Experia U, which I think is a decent bang for buck for the price. My search is over, as I have bought the Note (loving it btw), but I had high hopes for Xperia P, and their battery life just fizzles out. There is yet a gap, in the 20-25k market, and only decent option atm is the Galaxy Nexus sans the warranty.

bumping this thread as i am interested in the sony xperia s.looking at all the reviews i find a lot of positives but also a lot of negatives which are half heartedly mentioned.
i am migrating from a galaxy note mainly due to the screen size and also i fell in love with the looks when i demoed it in croma.
would love it if anyone shares some views about it.

You can get designer covers etc in Sony Centers. As for the screen protector, check out Ebay/Flipkart but its not really necessary IMO
P.S. Congrats ! How much did you get it for ?
