@Dead Devil- They are working with my iPhone 2g. Finally earphones compatible with iPhone 2G. ZOMG!
An advice - the buds that came preinstalled on it sounded bad, changed them with the bigger ones that came bundled along. It sounded very good with those. Very clear mids & lows afaik.

^ No you dont need an AMP to drive it . it works otu of the box very good. Also the more you burn these the better they sound
