Technology Risks to EVM?

@blr_p apparently, another very interesting view from Venezuela, didn't expect this...
That is foreign interference complicating things. I think Maduro did win.

Given Maduro is continuing Chávez's economy killing ideas but very good for short term populism. The people will go for him over any right winger.

The video confuses why the US wants him gone.

Not because of the oil as is the usual lefty trope but because they see him as detrimental to US interests think influence in the region. Something that is way more valuable than just Venezuelan oil

Brazil has also taken a left turn of late. When are you going to check out their EVM's :)

All the EVMs will now be under UScrutiny :)
Anyways was surprised by their manual paper ballot plus evm strategy in a country facing difficult situations in multiple ways.
Yeah why maintain two different systems and if there is a discrepancy how to tell one from the other

They may be propping this as double transparency (with methods to circumvent of course hearing the general situation there), still they are in quagmire.
Also, opponents using exit poll results for such a big protest, their president having hacking arguments and dirt wrestling on X against Elon...

Only this time. There was no controversy with the last one.

Noise. Their courts will have to rule on this at some point.

Has the opposition filed a complaint?

Was wondering whether it's possible for Maduro to lose and to my surprise that is exactly what polls suggested over a month back

Maduro could concede defeat and negotiate a transfer of power with safeguards against legal persecution. Or he could try to steal or invalidate the election. Most observers assume Maduro will opt for the latter
Commentators have already called it...
