To buy a home from any of the holds in Skyrim, you need to talk to the Jarl's PA. He'd give you the option of buying one once you've completed the task from him/Jarl. The cheapest I suppose is in Whiterun for 5000 septims. If you can't afford a home, do what I did - clear out Drelas' Cottage. A useless dark mage lives there which can be taken care of pretty easily. Once he's done with that house is yours and has an Arcane Enchanter and the Alchemy Lab as well. Not to mention plenty of space for all the loot you can ever carry and dispose off.
Black_Hawk: Dude I don't recall much now. But I did most of the side quests first and then resumed the main quest. I knew if I were to complete the main questline first, I'd be bored with the side quests.
Have you encountered any Dragon Priest(s) yet? Don't sell their masks! You will need them towards the end when you have 'em all.
Btw mate, did you complete all the miscellaneous city based quests in Skyrim? I mean they are way too many, lol!
I think I completed almost all of the important side quests save for those repeating ones like Animal Extermination, Slaying Dragons, Clearing giants etc.
Btw are you playing in the first-person or third-person mode?
Quick quesiton, how do I separate the main quests from the side ones? I assumed the ones listed under 'Misc' tasks were side ones, but turns out the quest I'm doing currently 'The man who cried wolf' was a side quest, but is listed with the normal list quest list.
If you ONLY complete the main mission objectives... how long is the game?
Started the game.Unfortunately the jumping physics or animation is still similar to oblivion(only slightly better than oblivion).
Apart from that everything seems awesome. The wonderful water realism makes a special note.
