The Best and Worst Ads this Cricket Season

Maybe it's just me... But I would prefer last IPL's idea/Abhishek ads over this season's DoCoMo/Ranbeer ads anytime. Both ads are stupid on some level, but idea ads had better comic element/timing. Ranbeer Kapoor isn't stand-up comic and neither he can act as one (as proved by the ads), on top of that one glaring issue, the lines are crap/not funny at all and the forced laughter from audience adds to the irritation.

The Airtel ads have been quite good though... specially, the street dancer and endless goodbye. Sorry but I find the the chick from the new 3G video calling ad not-so-hot. She's alright to look at but quite irritating to the ears. :P

But man, Kalki does look haaawwwt in that Micromax ad. :)

Luckily, thanks to the HD channels... I didn't even know some of the ads displayed here existed. Ads, what ads? :bleh:

Which ones? Do you mean the ungli cricket ones? They were much much worse IMO :P
 
^ Yeh, the Ungli cricket I think. To each his own I guess... but I wouldn't mind watching those compared to Ranbeer ads. I would change channel if the Ranbeer ads appear.... they are seriously crap. :)

Speaking of the last IPL, does anyone remember the stupid Gambhir and Sehwag Karbonn mobile one. "Tera hai, nahi tera hai." Wins the worst ad of the seaon by a looong margin.

that was for the last season i guess when we were bombarded with these ads during mid over :@

the best joke mentioned by harsha bhogle after he saw the AD mid over was that the DD team did not have a coach then :P
 
The voice part does suit him... but seriously? I'm not even sure if that video embed should be allowed here on TE... I'll leave it to the mods, but I'm sure most will agree that the language used in that video is seriously offensive. That seriously is not funny.
