Ive been using the Bridge app for a month now to connect my Wear OS watch with my iPhone, and I’m seriously impressed!
If you're an iPhone user with a Wear OS smartwatch, you've likely run into some frustrating limitations. Officially, Apple and Google haven’t made it easy to bridge the gap between these two ecosystems. At one point we had a free app "Merge" that performed really well if setup properly for fetching notifications from iPhone to watch. unfortunately that service is now paid with a subscription that cost almost 1/4th the price of the watch .
I recently came across a reddit post about Bridge , its still in testflight beta but already performs better than merge.

Setting up Bridge is straightforward:
once setup the watch auto connects and receives notifications & sync's Health data.
From my experience ive not been able to get health data to work properly but im sure in a few months that will be fixed aswell.
If you’ve been struggling to make your Wear OS smartwatch and iPhone play nicely together, Bridge is the solution you’ve been waiting for. It’s lightweight, efficient, and user-friendly — and it offers more than its paid alternative.
Whether you're using your smartwatch for fitness tracking, keeping up with notifications, or both — this app delivers on its promises.
Bridge is a must-have for any iPhone user with a Wear OS watch.
