Just incase you are overly cautious (like me) about taking care of your iphone's home button and are already using the zephyr cydia tweak, one small tip. May be you know but I thought of mentioning here.
Say you are in wiggle mode where icons on screen are wiggling then to get out of this one has to press the home button, but the same can be achieved by just pulling down the notification center once and putting it back to where it belongs.
 
Just to point out, this is refurbished and 32GB model for 400$ + Tax and for some odd reason the 16GB is more expensive at 500$ + Tax. Moreover there is a chance that Indian debit / credit cards might not work on the AT&T website.
 
I have a jailbroken iPhone 4S and i am trying to connect to my company's wifi. The way this usually works is that when i connect to the wifi, it immediately popups a login page where i enter my credentials and then i can use the internet. Also i do not get the wifi symbol on status bar until and unless i have been authenticated.
This has worked before so i know it works.
But today i am facing a problem where it gets connected to wifi and i get a tick besides the selected network and i also get the wifi symbol on task bar but i never got the login page. Due to this, i cannot use the internet as such. No webpage opens. But it does show as connected on status bar which is more confusing.
I have restarted the phone and checked, tried forget this network, disabled the block popups in safari.
 
Try and open the browser for a bit. Maybe then the log in page will pop up. I used to do this while logging into the many free wireless networks in Starbucks and B&N all of last year. Worked all the time if the popup would not appear on its own.
 
Does anyone use Onavo Extend app to compress mobile data on iPhone ? It claims to compress data like opera mini does but opera mini is limited onlya to itself while this thing claims to work across all the apps and saves the amount of data consumed.

BTW, I got my ATT locked phone unlocked through a friend. Now it should be like an FU phone, correct? Is there any way to check this without the 'trying to restore firmware' method?
I tried using IMEI.info
And I got this response: Simlock status: False

Any suggestions?

Yes your phone is unlocked and if it is working on an Indian SIM then you don't really need to worry. Still if you want you can check the status of your iPhone's IMEI# . But remember one thing, the results you get from there might not always be updated so if some site said it is locked then don't worry, if the phone works on Indian SIM you are good to go.

Guys suggest me the easiest & the most efficient way to download videos/music from Youtube/net & transfer to iPhone 4s? Please suggest free softwares/apps only.

If your iPhone is jailbroken you can download ProTube from cydia and use that to download youtube videos directly on your phone.

I got iPHONE 4s 16gb locked to 3 network 3 months back. Still i am struggling to factory unlock it. Every body is asking for 7K +
Please let me know if we can do factory unlock with less price
If not i wil sell my iPhone

I suggest you open a thread on macrumors / modmyi forums as well as they are sort of dedicated apple related forums and might get quicker reply.
 
I own iDevices but i am not really good at using iTunes. I am confused about syncing music to my iPhone. Between my and my wife's iPhone we have different music and for now i have no music loaded in mine while the existing iTunes library in my primary laptop is synced to my wife's iPhone. Now i want to ask what if the case is that there are like 10 albums which my wife wants and there are 10 albums which i want and few of these are common between both of us.
The question here is what if i have multiple iDevices which are using single laptop to sync the files and music and we need to selectively sync the music, how to go about that ?
 
There is a option to manually sync music , use that. Connect the iDevice to PC and then goto sync and select manually sync my music.

Better option is create two playlist for different devices and sync that playlist to each device. I do the same with my iPhone and iPad.
 
How can I transfer pics from my computer to iPhone (camera roll ??) so I can view them through the iPhone's stock photo viewer ? It would be even good if I can have different albums in my iPhone like trip 1, trip 2 etc.
I cannot do individual pics as I have like 300+ pics to copy.
