But these are coupons and not cashback, so say there's a restaurant with 60% upto 120 off, then you would be able to either use either 120 off or 100 off but never both. Is that right? One more of these and the blck membership would've paid for itself:
They are charging INR 299 vs INR 30. It would offset the costs a bit and also bring in more subscribers.Three days, three coupons. How do they expect this to be sustainable?
Zomato tried this and gave up pretty quickly, but they would give a coupon if it was 1 min late, Swiggy's coupon is if it's 5 mins late. And they're only valid for 2 days, Zomato's was 3 days.
It's not. It will run until whatever budget they earmarked for it lasts.Three days, three coupons. How do they expect this to be sustainable?
True that. Once the budget runs out, they’ll stop giving out. Same as how they stopped giving refunds even for legitimate mishaps. It will run until whatever budget they earmarked for it lasts
It is not possible for all cities/localities. In my city for example all good restaurants are at least 5km away & with the traffic & road conditions it is simply not worth it to drive there to order food not to mention wastage of time. This is precisely why I just get up, start my scooter, ride for a KM, order my food and wait while I sip tea at the restaurant. Swiggy is absolutely BS, prices are exorbitant, ordering food is considered a luxury hence luxury tax? I still use Instamart, but rarely try to order food on Swiggy.
