oof this build deserves a threaad of its own!

Haha, some day I guess.

Yes! Clear pics. One of the best I have seen!

Thank you. A lot of photographers would say the camera doesn't matter but it does makes things so much easier. Any interchangeable-lens camera almost guarantees nice photos because they have the ability to trigger an off-camera flash and having a lot of light helps more than anything else. These photos were taken with a Sony A57 camera with a Minolta 50mm lens back then.

I believe lot of credit goes to photography skill too. Very nice build and very well shot.

On topic, quite literally every photo @rsaeon posts in this forum is a notch above. Even if it's a random pic to help others or pics in his sale threads.

I like to photo-document a lot of my daily life, it doesn't take much time and you have memories to look back on. I used to photoblog back in the early 2000's and I spent a lot of time at xtremesystems.org a few years later. People there had more money than sense so they used to post amazing photos of exotic hardware and builds with unattainable camera gear and that's where I picked up this style of photography: wide open aperture, lots of light, blurred out backgrounds.

That, and the implied wisdom behind 'your first 10,000 photos are your worst' deeply resounded with me when I was younger and encouraged me to continue to pursue my hobbies.

I sometimes wonder if he does this as a profession

Having too many hobbies and not enough time is bittersweet, but also makes this life so much more enjoyable.
