Umesh yadav bowled a good bouncer at decent pace. Which got Hit on tendulkar's head making him unconscious for some minutes.
This made him face the wrath of the team for geniunely bowling quick at the nets.
So you can consider what sort of practice they might have had.

When i click on IND v SA, nothing is loading after that ..

Even the play button not working ..

Click on the different streams and click the close button on the ads. Takes about 10-20 secs to load but you will be able to find pictures and highlights on one of the streams. I was able to watch yesterday, dunno about today. Videocon D2h has started providing Ten Cricket after a lot of bad mouthing.
 
A good comeback by india in the second innings

But still they have to spend 2 days on crease to at least draw this match or they can pray that rain spoils their play
 
^^^^^quit watching india make a complete hash of things! watch the ashes - its not a one sided affair like india's away games.

Broadcasted on zee news coinciding with the last odi between india and nz.
I dont claim that he was sidelined for this but the batsmen gave him stares for bowling a bouncer at tendulkar.
So practice was not full fledged
As expected.

I had heard Sachin then fished out a toothpick, examined it and re inforced it with another toothpick for strength and whacked the next ball into the bahamas. - Aaj Tak (Yup, the one where Masala Brand Names advert ticker runs underneath a death/rape newsflash.)

On a serious note:

Sachin had a jarring blow on the helmet, took the helmet off to inspect, recollected his composure and went on with the session.

Getting Unconscious is far fetched right from the word go.
 
Lol that was there for everyone to see.
During that day i watched the same news on sahara with their cricket update.
So i assumed it others were knowing without providing on record proof.
But you do agree he got a jarring on the helmet right?
 
Sure. I read abt it.

No mentioning unconscious. Be assured, Sachin getting unconscious and no news of that whack being the reason for his first inning failure is a dead giveaway.
 
I hope we the Indian Cricket Team learns some Real Cricket soon ... They seem to be basking in the glory too much IMO.*

I just wanted to mention that the practice sessions were not taken seriously.
Today newspapers mentioned that indian players were caught offguard for the preparation of the first day since they felt that the match was not going to happen for atleast the first day given the weather that behaved before the match.
They had even skipped practice the day before.
 
Familiar story though, he will get out as soon as his personal achievement is done and India will lose the match :D xD.
 
^^yeah , it was all for personal achievement. It's a different story all together that he saved an Innings defeat for India .
