edit: thou I have to say Dhoni's been very lucky :P. It was Dhoni who captained the Indian side(no Sachya no Mr.Kolkata either) to T20 world championship win :P . It was Dhoni who trusted Joginer Sharma to bowl the last over of the finals against Pakistan. Again all lucky charms :ohyeah: , keep off you jealous mumbaikars :P
 
My First Post in this thread of IPL TAMASHA...

Both of My Royally Hated Teams are out :

1) Kolkata Knight Riders

(Kept Dada Out of the South Africa match and the whole stadia supported the south african team.. bah)

2) Mumbai Indians

(Wen u can Boo the Master Blaster (rem the test match against England,) to Yuvi and the likes of other Indian players.. I wdnt want to see sch a team win )

we won t20 world cup cos of misbah played a ediotic shot .. pure luck ..had he struck it down the ground we would have lost ..

I am now very interested to see the composition of the Indian squad to be selected for the ODI series and Asia cup in June

I feel strong new contenders coming into team would be

Shikar Dhawan

S Badrinath

Manpreet Gony

Yousuf Pathan

Ravindra Jadeja

and out goes

Sehwag, Sreesanth,...(dont remember others)
 
Sehwag out... WTF are u smoking... If you would have said Dhoni i would have kindda agreed but sehwag... If anything he should be made the captain of the side...

He had hit pollok for 19 runs in the very first over of the match against Mumbai Indians... He is made for 20-20... And if you see his inngis more often then not he has clicked... He with Gambhir makes the "Best" opening combination in the world for 20-20 and heck i would stick up my neck and say for 50 Overs ODI also... If he gets going(As he is doing it now) more often then not he will single handidly win the match for the team. PERIOD.

I guess you were still half asleep when you typed that...
 
yeah me too! I didnt understand why Sehwag should be packing

In fact Gambir and Sehwag have the highest partnership in terms of runs in the IPL tournament! Gambir contributing alot here but Sehwag also :)
 
Anyone mention Rohit Sharma... He is playing for the wooden spoon side, but IMO he is one of the most talented and probably the one who will replace Rahul/Sachin. The guy has such real talent... The way he plays...something about him sets him apart from any other Indian player...He could be the best player in the Indian side if he builds on his rare talent....
 
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Gony, Yusuf Pathan, Piyush Chawla, Pragyan Ojha.. I forgot couple of other names too As it is we have shortage of good spinners.. With Kumble and Bhajji worn out..Powar,Murali never worth.. Chawla and Ojha are good options for ODI.
 
Yomahesh and Sarwan(Dont exactly remember his name)... Two good talented bowlers from chennai in Daredevils... Should get a chance... They have done better then Ishant Sharma in IPL... Not that Ishant is bad or anything...

@ Spacescreamer... Why Dhoni... Well... I don't think he is a 20-20 batsman... He is not dependable... I don't enjoy his batting at all... And in the hearts of hearts he knows it too... Only a moron will like to keep joginder sharma in his team... He relies on his luck too much and he backs its by saying its his gut feeling... I would rather play with Powar then Joginder sharma... I will always backup talent... And both Dhoni and Sharma lacks it...

P.S. I don't feel Dhoni has yet justified his 5+ Crore bid which CSK took on him.
 
abhishek nayar is other talented player who should get a chance ..

and what ..sehwag should be in the team all the time ..test , one day or t20 .. he is gem of a player .. :ohyeah:
 
all these guys are good enough for a pitch where the ball does not move a wee bit ....once the balls get seaming ..then everyone goes uh-oh
 
Kings turned paupers today ! Glad yuvi was booed out of the stadium. had passed derogatory remarks the last time he won in Mumbai saying that the crowd here were very one sided towards Mumbai. :@ Guess thats not the case Mr. Yuvraj, its more like people are one-sided against you ! :clap:
 
Good Kings11 lost yesterday at wankhede ;)

I was there on the ground when Mumbai lost just coz of 1 run was damn frustrated.

Good his team was kicked out of IPL on the same ground.
