i believe so, but it is possible to transfer your save progress to other ios devices...

The iOS 5 update will happen toady at 10:30 PM IST. I have two iOS devices. iPad 1 and iPhone 4. Will be updating the iPad and not the iPhone as I would lose the Gevey unlock if I update to iOS 5. Will wait for Tiny Umbrella and then would save the BB to upgrade to iOS 5. Or maybe cook a new IPSW from sn0wbreeze.

Updated mine to iOS5 in 20 mins! Still to explore it though.

P.S: Is Rage HD not available in the Indian iTunes store?

Ios 5 on my iPad.:

Update was a PITA!!!! had 3002 and 3200 errors... Restored it and it worked fine..

No Multitouch guestures....

Now it became a bit slow..

It crashes randomly...(Goes to the home screen)

iCloud is not that great considering the fact that it only gives 5 gb of free data

The good things are:

Safari has tabs

Revamped Music Interface and More options

IMessage is good

Notification centre actually works

Remiders is useful and News stand is good.

Finally what I want to say is that it is not Optimised for iPad 1.. But works ok...

Definitely will jailbreak this for the multitouch gestures.... WTF did apple omit them???? They were even there in 4.3.5
 
@teja92 multitouch gestures are there in iOS5 i am using them. What do u mean by they are not there and the OS is not optimized for ipad1. My friend who is using ipad1 has no complains regarding the OS.

@techno_funky why not the smart cover and a TPU case for the back.
 
@Metalspree Dude, they disabled Multitouch guestures in iPad 1..

They are re enabling the in iOS 5.0.1..

Waiting for that now

Hey guys my bro is planning to get a Ipad 2 for my uncle from USA so i just wanna know about the international warranty provided by apple suppose if ipad 2 screen breaks or something happens to it will they give a new piece from the istores in india? also it is cheaper to get it from USA rather than here rite?
