The samsung Solar one is innovative.. but you charge it few hours under sun for a call of few minutes... depends if you need this feature...

Looking to buy a new phone to replace my SE w810i. Budget is 10k

Features-

Big screen - 2.2" and above for internet browsing

Camera at least as decent as my current w810

Touchscreen optional

Good connectivity options - 3G, Edge etc. WiFi optional

Good battery life

Have been a long term SE user, and i find the c510 to be quite interesting, also thinking about the g700 for its bigger screen and decent feature set at a similar price. What else can i consider? I dont mind moving away from Sony Ericsson

The SE C510 (10.1K*) is your best option !

You can check out the Nokia 3600 Fold and Nokai 5610XM too.

The SE C510 is a pretty good option too.

You can just copy all the contacts to the SIM card memory and after inserting the SIM card in the E71, just copy the contacts to the phone memory.

Also try to see if there is an option of sending contacts via bluetooth in the HTC Touch.

If WiFi is a must, then I think you can opt for Asus P320. Its a Windows mobile with WiFi also.

Get yourself the Samsung Guru B100. I charge mine once a week. Good display and keypad to do what you want.
I paid Rs 1400/- for it a couple of weeks ago.

how about N79 compared to N82..in case of performance N82 wins, but in case of Interface and look N79 is the king..

Both of them have almost the same interface. The N79 may have FP2 but the interface is the same. There are only some visual goodies. But the most important improvement is of battery life management.

But even with these improvements, FP2 is a bit unstable. Nokia is giving more importance to S60 6th ed improvements via firmware update. So updates for FP2 are slow(they released an update last week though.)

So if you want to buy a time tested stable phone, go for the N82.
