Can't really comment on phones that haven't launched here.

If the 5730 does retail for around 15K, it sure is a steal.
Too bad, it doesn't offer a decent battery life to back all that it offers.

Next time, consolidate your queries into one post. :p

Both are almost identical as far as specs. are concerned.
One is music oriented (5630) and the other (E52) obviously business oriented, both optimized(battery life) accordingly.

E52 Vs 5630 :

+ Better battery life
+ Bigger display
+ A-GPS
+ Accelerometer sensor
+ Office Suite

Want to buy a phone for my mom.
Budget: less than 2k
Needs:
*Color phone with FM
*Good battery backup
*Will be using it for 3-4 years
*Dad already has a 5030 express radio. So some other phone other than that.
*I am inclined towards the 1661 as the nokia low end phones offer good batter backup and solid build quality.(Better than rivals)
Comments on this phone and about better options available.

Either the Nokia 1661 (1.7K*) or the Samsung E1210 (1.7K*) !

My friend wants to buy a phone for his dad.
Budget - under 7.5k
After lot of research we both shortlisted to SE G502 and Nokia 6303c.
The phone will be used for atleast 3 years. My friend is slightly inclined towards the nokia and me towards SE.
I read in a review that the SE comes with walkman 3.0
The phone will be connected to a speaker sometimes. So does the sony headphones have a 3.5mm jac like the walkman series. Else how much does the converter cost?
Is there any better option at this price point. His dad doesn't like the 5130 looks. :( Is the w395 any good? Will it last considering it is a slider phone for 7k? Is it a good buy?(I have a 15 months old w580i and i think its slider is not upto the mark(like the w910i))

P.S: before 2 days Nokia 6303 price was 7.5k in univercell and wavetel website. Today its listed for 6.7k!!! Is nokia on a price cutting spree?
P.S.S: The looks(6700 looks!!!) and specs of the nokia 2730 looks impressive. Seems like it will have a price tag of 5-5.5k and has 3G!!! Is it worth waiting for it? Will be buying the phone in about 2 weeks.

The perfect option would be the Nokia 6303 Classic (6.6K*) !

But if you want better looking, 3G capable devices, these are your options :

SE G502 ~ 6.8K*
Samsung L700 ~ 6.6K*

The Nokia 2730's availability is still uncertain and looks apart, it doesn't really offer a lot.
