1 thing i do not understand is why has the price of the HTC Touch shot up ? It was considerably low and suddenly it has shot up......any reasons for the same ? Also HTC P3350 last i saw for 16k in Alfa......where is it available for 13.5k...?

Blackberry Pearl - 14000
Nokia 5310XM - 8150 with 1gb card
Motorola E8 - 8850 with 1 gb and without loopback adapter (watever that is)
N72 - 7800
Nokia 7210 - 5.2 <----- (real VFM IMO)

Omnia 16GB - 34450

the HTC P3350 is for 13.7k both at wavetel & univercell(Chennai) !

AFAIK,it's the 64mb ram version that is being widely sold...once stock clears ,the newer 128mb one might start..

128mb one may just be .5-1k more if your able to find one..

But who knows? someone might sell a 128mb version for the same price..

so no comments on that !

And yes,online prices are marginally lower than retail prices..in most cases !

A close friend is offering me his N95...N95 older version, 8GB card, spare original panels...how much should I ask him for? has all the accesories.

From which shop are these quotes from?

Are u sure it was the Motorola ROKR E8 and not the ROKR EM30. They look almost the same, only difference being the Omega wheel on the E8. The price of the E8 is around Rs.12.5k.

Also is the Samsung i550 really priced at Rs.10k? It was 19k some months back. It has loads of features, most which no 10k phone has.

It doesn't sport a TV-OUT port !
But yes,it currently retails for 5.3k :hap2:
But then with a poor battery life (t.t : 2hrs),many are sure to have second thoughts about this...

Around 7.5k should be fine..
8k only if its in pristine condition and if your fully satisfied with it !
I'm sure the warranty would have run out by now.

(Resale value is around 6.5-8k*)

Are these phones available in India yet or are u converting the US prices to INR?
How can there be only Rs.100 difference in the price of the HTC Touch Pro and Touch HD?
Is the HTC G1 really available in India?

Are u mad Or do you have a lot of cash lying around unused ? ? ?
The N95 sells for around 18k nowadays.
Is the handset in warranty? If it is in warranty, it may be worth around 9k or less. But with the 8GB card, at most 10k, nothing more than that.

I have always posted the current retail prices of phones very much available in India, in this thread !

If at all I do mention converted prices,I clearly state that they are yet to be launched here.

sorry abt the typos :) ...its the e6 n not the e8 and its the i200 and not the i550

I am sorry if I offended you. Its just that I never saw the official press release for the HTC Touch HD and so thought that maybe it was still to be released in India.
Also in the prices that u have mentioned, the Touch HD costs just Rs.100 more than the Touch Pro. I had thought that the Touch HD will be around 8-10k costlier than the Touch Pro.
