those ppl have resorted to the usual ways of increasing the prices here an there ! :no:
univercell & the mobile store have better pricing ! :p
guess,subhiksha mobiles offer the lowest prices..

27.8k can be HAGGLED DOWN to 27.5k ,duh?! don't you haggle? :bleh:

I am currently using n95 but m bored so wana change. what u say? or any handset u suggest with all the features except N82.

Samsung i780 ~ 19.3k

The fastest among the three being the Samsung i780 !

If ready to compromise on WinMobile based phones..

then there's the Nokia E71 @ 19.7k to consider.

Thanks man, and one more thing could you please give me two options for a good phone at around 15k.

Requirements:

Large Screen

Fast

Games and Software

Sturdy build( i keep dropping my phone so dont want any delicate phones)

Decent styling, not too flashy...

Music

No blackberries or E Series please...

looking for a clampshell phone for my mom

should have bluetooth , mp3 , radio , memory card and dual screen .. which one to get .. no idea ? how is raze v3i .. budget is upto 9k ..

suggestions pls

add 1 to 2k more and get the razr2 v8 for 10-11k.. it has all the things that you have listed and is quite a looker...

also v3i is very old by now, so it is not advisable to go for it

Two phones that come to mind are:

Nokia N81 8GB ~ 15.5k(My Choice)
&
Samsung i450 ~ 12.8k

Both feature a 2.4" display..

They are built well but are not meant to be dropped often !:eek:hyeah:
get a case or pouch..;)

Naaptol had shown retail shop prices along with the shop name and address and it stated lowest quote for K850i of Rs. 15799(with Free 2GB Memory Card:p ) at Sony Ericsson Experience Store in Mumbai (the same begin given by compare india)

So has the prices fallen for it??

Also I wanted to know whether the price of Sony P1 is expected to fall in the coming months??:)

If your very particular about a camera with AF & Flash..
Nokia 5610 ~ 11.8k

And if your not ,if music is your top priority..
SE W890 ~ 14.8k

need a few recommendations,

I have to buy a phone for someone, no real technological necessasities just need it to look good n maybe flashy(tats all girl care about! hehe)

anyways dont really have a budget, but would prefer within in 5k.. else can also be extended upto 10k.

Hmmm,
Arnd the 15k mark could u suggest any more phones pls.
My order of preference is as follows:
1) Looks and Looks
2) Music
3) Decent cam(atleast 3mp and id be crazy happy if it had autofocus and flash too:eek:hyeah: )

I know its really demanding from my side but hey, pls work on the preferance and Thx a ton again.

Need something that lasts as i hate my razr v3i which is still under warranty and keeps on getting some problem or the other. Hate motos.

The W890 which u suggested is nice and thin but it doesnt have the killer neat appeal to it.
