hi toxic,
can you please suggest a phone within 3k...need one mobile for rough use,simple mobile...camera aint necessary but good multimedia functn/ talktime/battery life would be preferred...any brand preferred as far it is VFM...

I suggest that you dont buy a Motorola mobile now as I heard that Motorola is shutting down their service centres in India and has almost stopped selling its phones. Motorola is gradually exiting the Indian market.

Need your suggestions should i go for 5800XM or Samsung Jet s8000.
Little confused need suggestions. can ignore the price difference.

my requirements are a nice touch screen and good display.

Hi,

I am planning to buy a new phone with in 7k -10k having following features-

1) 3MP camera and camera quality should be good

2) Music players with good sound quality , bluetooth ,GPRS , Edge etc.

I guess 3MP camera will be above the range 10 k .....

Please let me know which will be better choice.........asap.

Hi priyanka,

Check out sony ericcson c510. It has a good camera and features you have mentioned.

Have the same confusion. Looking for a phone with good touch browsing and decent battery life.

Camera 3.15 MP,

price should be around 10k - 10.5k.

Sorry that was by mistake but i changed my quote ........
Is there any cell with good camera quality with in 7k .
Wat about Samsung SL700 i have heard abt it ...its good but the fact is it has ony 2 MP........For 3MP i have to go beyond 10k or is there any cell within 7-10k with this feature.......

Actually frankly image quality never does not depend fully on megapixel only.
Its also based on image sensor. So it does not always mean that 3MP is better than 2MP. check the lens as well as image sensor.

let me check this 7k to 10k category. hopefully we can find something in addition to c510.

Your choices are the Nokia 3600 Slide and Nokia 6303.
In most reviews, it has been mentioned that the camera quality of the 3600 Slide is not much better than a 2MP camera phone and so dont buy a phone based on the megapixel count of its camera.
The 6303 has been launched very recently, just 2-3 days ago and so there is a very small chance of getting a review this quick.

But I can guarantee you that none of these phones camera can match the quality of the SE C510 or K790i or K810i.

You may be able to get the SE K790i for less than 10k.
I think the SE K810i costs a little more than 10k. But check its price anyway, its price may now have gone below 10k after the release of the C510.

Although the Black version is officially released, availability is still uncertain.

The main difference between the S8003 Jet & 5800 Xpress Music is that the former lacks smartphone capabilities.

If its outright entertainment & capabilities your after, add to that a brilliant display, it simply has to be the Samsung S8003 Jet !

Anyways,

The Nokia 6303 Classic is simply an alternative to the Nokia 3600 Slide in this price range.

At 10K, there's the SE C510.
