Play around with the colour settings and white balance. And central composition is a no-no.

@Freaky - I like your simple uncluttered compositions. But as Anshul pointed out, center compositions are not the best choice. Try following the rules of third and position your subject off centre.

@Hellswrath - Ah sorry, should have mentioned that I am Brendon on jjmehta and flickr. :ashamed:
