@blueren - Snake was shot with Nikkor 70-300, Droplet with 18-55.

The droplet splash was captured on Mirror. So I got the reflection of the splash. And my hand is reflection in the mirror (need to position hand at a certain angle so that it looks straight in camera). Used camera flash,a 27watt CFL light beside and a white sheet for background.

Hi ppl,

Shot with my first ever dslr, the Canon Eos60D + Tamron 18-270mm. Bought the camera yesterday and, by great luck, there was a full moon.

PP is cropping + sharpening. The green fringing, I assume, is the lens' CA.

@BF1983, good shots.

Who is the victim of the second shot, tell the person to be care ful. the mosquito seems to be vector of Dengue (IIRC those mosquitoes have this tiger like stripes, I studied it during my final MBBS days in 1996 so obviously memory may fail, but better to be watchfull). Incubation period is around 7-10 days for mosquito born diseases.

Though that same mosquito suffered a horrible death after that shot. ;)

@Ravikant - Thanks, yes its a Tamron 90mm f2.8. Bought it used for 12k. :)
