@sudarshan ; the composition is good, elements are nice only thing going against is the muddy water, had water been clear it would make a wonderful photo.
@aces, I dont know why but the centre of your photo gets overexposed. Can you try smaller aperture only a step down than what your lens permits. I know you are excited with a fast prime in your hands, but somehow something is missing in last few shots of yours.

Doc, Sudarshan: You guys are right. It was a combination of using the fast lens, as well as a tricky lighting condition. You see, a part of the area is shade, and part of the area is sunlight. This makes the camera metering system in-effective. But thanks to capturing in the RAW format, I was able to extract some details out:
