All of those in that latest post are HDRs except for the last Fountain shot. If you aren't familiar with HDR, this site can help you get started. & iinm this video goes into some detail about settings in Photomatix.

But as regards the 1st shot you seem to have liked, it's the light that's more important than the hdr treatment. That was early, about 6-7.00 am, aka 'The Golden Hour'. If you try shooting more during such times, I'm sure you'll have better results.

Also, that 1st shot is a panorama. Here's a video on how to stitch one in PS. HTH.

PS: I'll try & post later about how I feel one can go about learning pp to generally get better at it imho.

PS#2: a. You might want to consider taking your shots in landscape as well as portrait mode. A few of those shots there would have probably benefited from a vertical orientation.
b. Also, for the shot of the gardens, it would've been better if you'd have shot it from right in the center so that the tree 'lines' would have a converging point in the center & there would've been more symmetry. Something like those Taj Mahal shots which are ubiquitous. Of course, I understand that it's not always possible (due to restricted access) & this may have well been the case.
c. Also try various PoVs. For eg, for the shot with the wooden horses, crouching down to get at the same level as the eye of the 1st one & having the others in more or less a straight line, receding into the distance, would've probably worked better. It's kinda the same advice one generally gets for shooting kids, viz. getting down to eye level.
HTH & keep shooting!
