there is another way
install the nps from the cd that u got with the phone
and also install the usb drivers in the cd
do this before you connect the phone

also kill the nps process before flashing

make sure u see the things u are supposed to see (Drivers.PNG (image))
before you start to flash

cheers

Whats NPS????

The Only Thing I Got With My Package Was "SAMSUNG Kies" CD.

Also There Are No Drivers That I Can Install Separately:huh:

Install KIES and the USB drivers on the CD .....

You shouldn't have used the custom ones...

try uninstalling then from add remove programs..

Disconnecting the call is a problem in all Spica's .Its is the hardware problem.I tried with the Mp21 and itouch stock earphones

I went in search for Spica again today(Chembur,Mumbai) but even today it was out of stock, this after last week i was told ki it would be in stock:@

Reason given by one of the Shop owners was that the Android 2.1 stock hasn't arrived from Samsung yet and the old 1.5 version isnt been sold or stocked by anyone as customers want the 2.1 versions only,so the best they can do is to wait for the stock to arrive:| I had also asked Univercell, even they didn't have any stock of Spica:S

Bloody this wait is getting frustrating now:no: WTH is Samsung doing:@

Finally Got It Working!
:clap::clap:

I Removed Everything I Mean NPS (New PC Suite) & Also KIES.

Did A Reg clean Up.

Restarted The PC.

Put The phone in download mode connected to PC keeping my fingers crossed.

And Then Finally There Was Driver Installation Prompt

I Used The Same Drivers Posted On The Guides Website (the ones which i had used earlier too)

Now I m trying to install Spica v.LK2.02 Mod. ViKiD, Metalspree Plz tell me What setting should i use in odin.

0. You should have any Android 2.1 firmware since JC3.
1. Download '.zip' файл: LK2-02-1_update.zip
2. Put it to root of SD card! (mount or with help adb)
3. Download Kernel: i5700_LK2-02_PDA.7z
4. Flash i5700_LK2-xx_PDA by Odin as PDA file. (Didn't understand this part.)
5. Kernel will flash and Spica reboot and enter in Recovery

Please Assist. I Sorry for being so demanding but i have put all my sunday for it.:cool2:

Ok you are doing it right .Now download this file spica_jc3.ops and load it at the OPS and the i5700_LK2-02_PDA.7z at the PDA.Your ODIN should look like this

captureqnw.jpg

Backup the entire memory card and dump the file LK2-02-1_update in it ( the memory card should not contain any other file other than the zip file)

Hit start and post what happend.I will give you step by step info check ur PM come to gtalk

The same you flashed you phone to a new firmware...

Now what you have to is point the PDA option to the .tar file you get after extracting i5700_LK2-02_PDA.7z ... and then let it flash...

Now your phone will boot into recovery (or you can access it by Holding down Volume Down _ Call + Power button)

(Before entering recovery make sure you backup your sd card data and place the LK2-02-1_update.zip into the root of the card.)

After your there.. choose the option which says : Install from any zip ...

and select the LK2-02-1_update.zip ... press the home button...

let it do what it does...

next reboot phone to see if its working.... of if you want just jump to the create partition option and create a ext2 partition of your choice.... itll format the card....

Now before exiting recovery goto the wipe section and do a factory reset...

then reboot from the recovery menu...

All should be well :)

haha yea i know...

will do it in like 2-3 days...

real busy with reviews and hardware piling up! :E

Just got a Roccat Kave dumped on me! :E

Just dont wanna do anything time pass.... because one wrong step and people will start having heart attacks...

So ill do a proper Step by Step guide...And maybe a video :D

Thanks a lot metal spree
