Bulk ordering saves on shipping more than anything else. Regular shipping is $20 per piece. Shipping in bulk even straight from amazon decreases this considerably - for 10 pieces I saw it was @ $7.50 per piece.

Actually the freight is the interesting bit, how much of a reduction can one expect here ?

Assuming you get all the products consolidated from one address in the US and then the whole shipment is sent to India.

Right, but this isn't just 10 of the same its everything nearly in one go.
 
^ mate i will tell you how its 33% you forget things like VAT will be added on everything that you get . since it will be imported in the name of my company. even if done at 0 profits i got to give in that. also freight drops with the weight 100 + kilo and we are talking of much better pricing. or if people are patient, sea shipping is DARN cheap if there is the right amount of quantity

Yep, i did forget VAT, so how much does that work out to ? 12.5%

duty is 23.8% + VAT ~ 33%

Assuming VAT works only on the cost price of the product ignoring shipping+insurance.

Yes, very attractive with sea, given it slashes the shipping cost which also factors into the duty.

How long 3 - 6 months ? Is it available as an option.
 
If Sea shipping is an option i think we can order PSUs and HTPC Cases then too rite? Since i am interested in getting a HTPC case :p
