Good personal hearing aids ARE expensive. My current set costs me nearly 80-90k a piece i.e double that amount for the whole set.

Why would you want personalized hearing aids? Dude, they're for general listening, not for music! :rofl:
 
no, go did not get me , i want the JH3A with a sticker on them saying " hearing aid for Achal Singh, as per his audiogram test" so that my father agrees and pays for them hoping its a hearing aid ! :P

this just in, dimensions of jh3a : 4.7755 (L) x 3.1743 (W) x 1.1736 (H).

the hight is a lot but ...width and length wise its verry small! exactly the size of my Western digital essentials (portable HDD)( i measured my WD..its 4.8"x3.1"x0.5"

got the eterna rev 2 .. really loving it.... mids are clear and bass is there but not eating away the mids... really enjoying more than m2....soundstage is ok but not better than m2 ..i love the fit of eterna ...overall the presentation of sound is very pleasing

VB, Eterna !! WTH!!

am not saying that they are bad IEMs ( infact they are great ,VB is universally acclaimed for for its very good bass, some say its better than IE8 at bass, while eterna also has good reviews), BUT both are not Top-Tiers, sorry. This thread was meant to help you choose one , so it failed.

BTW at how much did you buy the VB?

Its just this that Top- Tiers are not easy to buy at a short notice , so giving new life to thread , will definitely take lil time .

By the time , keep bumping and adding top ranked IEM's from medium - tier .

you are looking at RE262 at 13K and saying its too much, but i tell you it will retail for $250 so its not much. and moreover 262 also suits your requirements.

you could have already bought ( and sold ) a top-tier IEM by now.

Why are you nt buying the DDM? 160 =7.1 K ..or are you hesitant because it was available for 5K a while back(that was OEM), MusicaA will not bring back the OEM again . it a good price for DDM.

wallet not heavy,, read what i wrote after that.....you are buying all the middle end IEMs ....surely your Wallet is heavy as hell!!

good that OEM is available ...but not that good as the price hs gone UP(110>128!!) , i think 158 is much better deal, as you get all the accessories

BTW as they deal in SM3 also (earsonics) ask them about the OEM for SM3(if you are feeling lucky) !
 
How is westone 3 compared to UE TRIPLE FI 10 OR senn ie8 OR ORTOFON EQ-7???? MY HAND IS ETCHING TO GET ONE OF THESE AFTER READING IMPRESSIONS
 
Westone 3 holds up against the other top-tiers. ITs somwhat worm but detail it good.

Westone's own UMX3 retails for same and is more neutral than the W3.

are you getting a good deal on them?
 
I also need a top tier IEM/headphones and a top tier 2.1 system (read Swan M200Mkiii :P), that is where my audio buying journey shall end :D

e-Q7 = transparent. ( very) ..natural

W3 = warm.

they are very different, i would suggest e-Q7, if you are getting them at MRP .
 
no it wont be a bad investment , go for the one which suits your needs better (signature wise.)

design wise..are not the um3x, e535 similar.

um3x is more transparent, it has a monitor type sound, smaller soundstage, better imaging

so it all boils down to your signature preference.
