Guys , take Strategy words pretty seriously !!

he is one guy , who is wrapped in IEM knowledge , just name a IEM , and he will update u with its price and its imprressions , its competitor , its availbilty , imeediately in the next post .

@ others - I will say in above choices UM3x to be the best bet . Dont consider TF10 much , cable issues will bother u at the end of the day .

IE8 - only if u can tolerate mid bass bumps in between .

um3x is more transparent, it has a monitor type sound, smaller soundstage, better imaging

so it all boils down to your signature preference.
Did i just hear 'small soundstage' and the Um3x in the same sentence?? No you did not just call the um3x's sound stage small. Ok compaired to the TF10(which have a very L/R, width of the soundstage) they are slightly smaller. But they have amazing depth. Its a very 3D soundstage. Think of it this way, the Tf10's are more left right, and the Um3x are all around your head. You really have to hear them strategy rather than reading the reviews ;) I just met a guy today who sold his Tf10 cuz of fit issues and got a Um3x. And he concurs with the same. The Um3x are better in soundstage, mids, fit. The Tf10's are better in the bass region and soundstage width. :)

TF10 ..wide...NO!!

they had very deep sound stage and great separation but not they were wide...as much as the S4

UM3x , instrument separation wise they rival the great CK10 , they have very good separation but its all cramped in, its 3D sure ., but 3D is a room. have read this many times. they are very intimate. ( in a good way ), well yeah if you have tried it i cant say much.
hay, your sig says D5000!!

Yup , u can trust the seller , even the price is right .

U just need to be worried about customs @ india

Ok now that is purely subjective. I would defer with what your sayin but a lot of people will defer with what i'm saying so its really very subjective.

Yea it does, gave up on customs after hearing the D5000's. Went All In on these bad boys and I must say, they WHOOOOOP Da shyte outta any IEM i've auditioned. Infact HP's are obviously better than customs so no point of comparing. And yes b4 you disagree with me strategy that customs are better than HP's, trust me its not and no what anyone says......they've not heard the HD800's / The RS1 / The D5000's :P

IEMs are nowhere near HPs, be it custom IEMs. So benny is very true. By the way benny, do you own Denon 5000? If yes, put them in showoff section :P

How much did they cost you?

Just bought them yesterday dragonball. TBH, i've never put any of my items in the show off section. The word 'showoff' just makes me feel like not posting anythere there. If you have any queries i'll be more than happy to help here or you can pm me anytime without givin it a second thought.

Dont put it in show off . Just click some awesome snaps with the 500D and put it in the Audio Zone along with your impressions :D

and beech you forgot to thank me for making your decision is easier.. (i hope I did ).:ashamed: You can thank me by loaning your D5K for few days when you are here :bleh: .

D2K alongside its wooden cousin , what a review it would be.

Benny any idea about the RS1i prices here? I miss not having a Grado can!
The Rs1i is available at stereo and thats where i tried it. Stereo is selling for somewhere around 1200$ which is too expensive. Get them for lesser and they are the best cans ever. I think Vandal here on TE has them if i'm not mistaken.

The D5000's are for $850SGD. Cheaper than the UM Miracle and TF18 ;)

Dude they're all yours man. Just write the review at my place cuz they're not leaving my sight. Just that they're too darn delicate. Or maybe i'm just paranoid cuz they're 1 day old.

And if i thank you here on TE, trust me everyone will hate you even more just like my wallet does right now :P

U guys living in SP , have the biggest advantage of trying out stuff before buying and then if u like them can easily buy without the hassle of customs involved

We sitting in India , keep calculating actual costs only ...rupee vs USD , Shipping , Bla Bla Bla .... then above all Customs :@

What costs u 30-35k there , becomes 50+k here :(
Plus the risks of courier getting lost , item coming damaged and soooo onnn !!
India should change its custom policies for audio gear at-least :hap2:

Yeah, HPs are sure better , i sold off my TF10, bought the Miracle, just so that, my portable rig is as good as my Desktop one.

with miracle ...I hope its the otherway around! :P

its the gap is closing in i'd say ...re262 have good width.

Highest end customs are pretty close to highest end headphones actually. Just a different way of listening to sound. Universal's don't come close at all to any of the two.

The HM602 / Sflo2 -> Miracle is one helluva portable rig!!!
