Won at last!
Here is the strategy which I used. Don't listen to the in game instructions.
1. Keep your armies close. Select all & do dragon formation.
2. Order the canon units to fire at the enemy front tower & nearby enemies.
3. Wait a force will come from right side. They will be easily outnumbered.
4. Select all your archers and place them at the front & shoot fire arrows to the enemies. By this time the front tower should have been destroyed by the cannons.
5.Wait a second unit will come from left. use your cavalry, yari ashigaru, katana samurai & firing squads at them. They will be outnumbered too.
6. Then select all your units & start scaling the wall slowly. The canon should have damaged a small portion of the enemy units too.Keep on moving your ground armies (who have not climbed yet) to a location which has the least resistance.
7. After all your armies scaled the wall the enemy units will fight for sometime but eventually they will give up.
