Trackers - Discussions Thread

keep a lookout on r/Usenet for deals
why join usenet when debrid is enough? Just asking for personal views.
I decided to give an interview twice but no one comes to take an interview. Tomorrow i'll try again. If someone wants to give me tips, it will help me a lot.
and here since i did not login to RED- i got disabled... Didn't find it worthy.
Only GOAT level tracker is MAM. Nothing even close for audiobooks.

I am assuming you mean services like real debrid or all debrid and well if it works for you then you honestly dont need Usenet, the main benefit of Usenet is private tracker content but without the bullshit that comes with it, you get full speed, you dont need to seed anything/maintain activity or whatever. You just pay and off you go.

Is anyone here on DT or BWT?

I have been looking diligently, almost daily, for the last 6 months for any signs of a signup but nothing seems to be opening. Reddit told me they open usually during Holi, but nothing of that sort was seen. I tried registering for an application in DT, but they said my account age was less than 6 months (this was in Feb 2024).

How often do these 2 open for signups?
I have all the non desi content private trackers I want, it is only these 2 that seem to elude me.

For obvious reasons, I would not like to pay my way into the trackers.

Thank you.

I have read some online posts incl on reddit that one of them has moved exclusively to "application system" & from your post it seems to be DT. Current BWT seems to a resurrected version & not the original version which was much better as per reddit comments.

Can you link this article if you find it again? So right now only BWT opens for sign-ups and DT is exclusively application, is this right?

For DT, I have 3 other sites with uploads in the 3-4 TB range. I also have other sites with lower uploads. Can someone here who got in through this application system, elaborate on how old my accounts need to be and whatever else I need to do to get in successfully?

Thanks guys.

Not able to find that exact post but I did find this mentioning BWT was down for at least 2 years.

DT seems to be exclusively application now as that is the typical procedure for any tracker which follows the application path (most famous example of this is RED).

Didn't you already mention this?

Didn't want to wait another 2-3 months and then get rejected because of something else. Hence if there is something else, I'd like to use this time to make good of it.
Based on whatever comments I have seen related to RED & other application based trackers all the must have conditions are clearly mentioned & min 6 months acc age is one such condition. Other than that if nothing else is specified then just assume that as long as your acc stats are decent (aka ratio more than 1) & you continuously seed stuff there (& not be like after achieving 1+ ratio you stop seeding for weeks/months until you decide to dl something again) then it all depends on your luck & any questions asked during/after the application process.

not unless you score an user invite, tho if you only want content, Telly (from telly.wtf) runs a telegram channel where he posts his rips, you can join that or you consider using Usenet,

if these are general trackers, the ratio proofs wont be as valuable but if DT admins only said age is the issue then just wait until you fulfil the requirement

I have access to BWT only and not DT, is DT worth it going through the application process? I'd probably have to work on my stats on few trackers to get in.
Main issue with BWT is the retention of old torrents for me. Is that better on DT?

Don't know about this but generally only top tier international trackers have good retention for old torrents.
Makes sense, not sure if this is the right topic for this, is there any usenet indexer which is good for Indian content? I guess that will have better retention for older stuff.

I don't think usenet ever had a decent amount of Indian content. Your best bet is DT. I was able to find some old stuff in tamilmv(they have non-tamil content too) but it took ages before someone seeded it.

I usually follow this order, start with radarr to search from indexers and trackers (both private and public trackers) if that fails I'd search in tamilmv and even Google for some DDL sites, with right keywords you can find most of the stuff. Though I haven't used it, I think the telegram is scene is pretty big these days.

ninjacentral is a good bet for you other than the two unmentionable ones, Ninujacentral usually opens registrations on BF, so wait untill then, there's a Usenet discussion thread which is where I'll usually post any deals/open signups etc. you can follow, it'll get a lot OT here,

Speaking from experience (14+years with PT) most Indians do not know about Usenet period. In addition there is an additional charge for using an Usenet service providers. I dont expect anybody to pay a monthly subscription when it comes to piracy specially in India. Most would decide to use a seedbox for 2-3 months and build up enough buffer on PT sites then go through the whoops of Usenet.

oh definitely and its perfectly fine if they dont, I used to be a broke ass student so I get it, its hard justifying 800-900RS/month for a seedbox or 4-5k/year for Usenet, the OP asked for indexers thats why I mentioned ninja.

Thanks, I'll checkout tamilmv, never heard of it before.
