Monitors Ultrawide 4k vs 2k vs others

I am currently looking to upgrade my setup from a 27 inch simple lenovo 2k monitor. I was wondering if folks who have ultrawides whether its worth it. And then again if I should go for 4k or 2k. 4k ultrawides seem pretty expensive right now. I am not particularly well versed with the monitor world so thought I'd come seek advice from experts.

Edit- Nvm they're all QHD IPS not oled, I'm tripping..

I think you can check out oled ones in that range, do you need it for gaming or just work/productivity?
