Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - Discussion Thread

The boot fix wont allow the game to be played a 100% but i am hoping full fix will be out soon as well.

(knock on the wood/fingers crossed etc etc)

People who updated/purchased new console might need a lot of pinches of salt.
 
The error occurs when Drake opens his Journal. There is an update for it but the current "fix" from the scene does not work if you update. I guess it's only a matter of time before they re-fix it.
 
UPDATE on the "Fix"

This is an unsigned eboot from ps dev network signed with 3.55 keys. Journal bug is within the dev eboot and has nothing to do with this so called fix. nothing is cracked here or messed up. Eboot fixing this issue is 3.7x signed and therefore wont be decrypted and 3.55 signed as of now.

If the 'fix' originated from using a dev eboot then unless a dev eboot for other games which happens to be signed with 3.55 keys leaks out, you might be waiting awhile short of a new CFW

No breakthrough happening here.
an unsigned eboot (containing the journal bug) from the ps dev network got leaked and was signed with 3.55 keys to be playable for 3.55cfw users. the same method the recently appeared jb2 uses.
there wont be an update fixing the journal issue neither will other games work unless major breaktrough is being made.

The mods should explain why my post are deleted it was in same lines when a user asked whether fifa 12 works on cfw and everyone was defending him.

Also for those wanting to venture into the EBOOT fix zone, the game is reported to freeze in a certain part of Chapter 9 and there is no workaround for that, YET.

Get hold of the journal from the spl edition ... and then play the game using the eboot fix .. eh ? :devil:

A mere 200 Rs hike is understandable (but why at the eleventh hour?) considering I have invested on a super-comfy plush recliner a week back. It is yet to be delivered and installed though. :p

Will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the experience (however short it maybe) is god damn worth it!

But tell you what, it was one heck of a deal. I mean I went around scouting for a revolving chair with a good back-rest and then I stumbled upon this deal. Grabbed it instantly. Will post the snap later when it arrives later this weekend.
