^^It will certainly cost more than 34.5k for the phone excluding customs+shipping, check out the present conversion rate and add 3% as international conversion rates that will be charged by your bank, it will be more like 36.5k+customs at 1.03%+ shipping(8$ or 18$). moreover apple Uk website doesnt accept credit cards with indian billing address.

There is a Dell damage warranty available, even for the cracked screen issue.. just that youll have to shell out $89 more for it 
Kinda kills the point of getting this a little cheaper right?
Not to mention that that warranty might be applicable in the USA alone.

I am getting it with otterbox defender case instead. 401 for the Streak and the volyager headset and another 40 (from different site) for the otterbox defender.
I hope that it'll be fine.

Just checked. I missed on the discount on the bluetooth headset. It was .99 USD and now its 30USD

Exactly why I am paranoid and getting the most robust case available.
50USD is such a high price for a case but I guess its better to be cautious. The screen is anyway glass and with a kid at my home, I need to be doubly sure.
I'll buy it probably this week but will get it sometime in the end of Feb

I haven't used it personally but I don't see any problems. People call it a big phone and small tablet. I call it otherwise

$10 for 500gm and $8 more for every extra 500gm
as for currency conversions..
do not go by random sites, they dont provide accurate conversions.
go to rbi site and see the instant conversion rate, add 3.5% as conversion charge (if paying via CC) and also add educational, cess.. the total tax including Duty comes to around 5% for cell phones.

Also its not only the dead weight, uf dell ships it in a big box (like they alwas do), the vokumetric weight will be charged.
