you are shitting me rite?

what's the big deal?.. I just needed a simple washing machine, so opted for whirlpool basic 6.5kg. The same machine retails for around 7.8k (plus handling & delivery charges) in Mumbai whereas I got it for flat 6.5k from HS18.. decent deal..

Guys i dont hav credit card, i hav debit card & netbanking facility.

Can i opt for IVR discount???

Also plz tell me that HDD is powered externally or through USB itself ?

Guys, posting here as I saw many homeshop18 shoppers in this thread.

Today I placed an order from HS18 and while doing the payment, the session was out. The amount was deducted from my account. Now will HS18 cancel my order and refund my money or book my order.. ?

What should I do to confirm that the same is delivered at my address.. ? Please suggest guys.. I tried to contact them through feedback form but didn't get any response....

Wow! That was fast! Placed the order on the 13th, received both the shipments today, just five minutes back to be precise. That was really really fast.

That was the good part.

Now comes the bad part - The exterior packing was very nicely taped and sealed, so was the bubble wrap around the HDD package. Once I got through all that tape, I finally got to the HDD box. What do I find there? The box is almost crumpled, all the edges have signs of wear and tear. That much I can till attribute to shipping and handling. The top flap is still sealed with the original WD tape. BUT the lower part, where the box flaps interlock to close, well, that part looked like it had been ripped open. The flap corners were torn, with signs of forced opening.
The HDD packing within the box seems to be just fine. Nothing is missing, the drive is in perfect working order.

I will take this up with HS18 CC, but as I know the end product is alright I don't think anything is going to come out of it.

Your word people?

MY REVIEW :
Awesome experience with HS18.
I must say their service plus customer care is great.
I got my 500GB in the morning today.
The courier guy himself told to check the parcel completely. (First Flight Courier)
The packing was good, the box was not at all damaged, was bubble wrapped 4-5 layers.
The mfg. date of the hard disk is August 2011.
Working flawlessly
Couldn't have asked for more.

STEAL DEAL for 1925/-

OMFG USB 3.0 thats great now all i need to do i hope and prey that the hd arrives at my door step safe and sound :P

The xbox 360 controller i got is BLACK and it looks so cool cant stop playing fifa 12

thanks rocker for posting this coupon code i called up sethia and they said the drive costs around 2.9k :S

so in conclusion i paid 1925+866 =2791 for items that actually costs 1500(from flipkart)+2900(from sethia)=4400RS

all delievered to my door step except for the HD which iam yet to get

hence Rocker is Awesome and in future ill be looking forward to his/her post for more awesome Coupons such as this.

Could someone else please also confirm whether the drive they've received is USB 3.0? Not mentioned as such on the site [500gb elements as well as passport], but seems so from the pics above.

Also, if warranty is to be claimed later, is HS18 responsible or is WD to be contacted directly? In the latter case, is the drive serial no. enough? Many thanks.
