called up the cc gave him a my piece of mind he said the bill will be dispatched ASAP i hope it does btw if you want the warranty to be calcullated from the date of purchase you need the bill as a proof of purchase other wise it will be calculated from the date of manufacturing
 
just ordered one WD 500gb for me.. and when i enquired about the IVR150 discount, the cc exec said that it is disabled for now for this product..

i didn't force her as i wanted to pay using 3emis and acc to her, emi option isn't available through IVR..

Fishy. I called just now, the IVR lady told me IVR150 offer expired yesterday :S
 
it might have been expired already but if it isn't only applicable on this hdd, then it can be justified as all the te members have done a lot of shopping using it.. lol

@RS4:For claiming WD warranty, you do not need an invoice.

But surely you guys should contact CC and tell them to provide the bill.

You are lucky :P No bill and bubble wrap here, have already informed CC about bill.
 
Can anyone pls buy this for me using credit card..i can transfer the amount in ur account using bank transfer..if there are no IVR discount, then just that 500 discount is also enough. pm me if anyone can do this favour

I got my HDD today... Had actually ordered for the HDD with the capacity display for 2275 (USB 2.0) but got a USB 3.0 without the display which apparently I could have got for 2050 (without the IVR coupon)

So please tell me should I call CC and tell them about this or just let it go... I am not sad that i got a USB 3.0 hdd but it is not what i had ordered... So I do not really know what to do about it... Please help

Atleast you got your hdd. I ordered the same one on the 18th and it's still in transit.

On to your question, the hdd shown for 2775-500=2275 is a wd passport studio which is usb 2.0 and firewire which would cost about 5k in the market. I went ahead and ordered that because it was a little cheaper than the other listed usb3.0 passport. and i took the risk that in case i got a regular usb2.0 passport, i could return it saying that it's not a studio which they've shown. there's no way we'd actually get a studio for 2775 leave alone 2275.

But you're saying you could have got it for 2050, which is actually the price for the elements. so did you get a passport or an elements?
