i thinks HS18 is only the seller if you want to claim warranty you can do so by applying it via WD site i think it will be onsite warranty where a person from WD will come and pick up the faulty hd and courier you a new one
This is the problem with generic, non-tech shopping sites like hs18. Sometimes tech specs and pics are all messed up. For example, i was looking for a 16gb microsd card there and they were all class 2s. The only one with a picture showing class4 said extreme CF card in the description and was selling for 4k+ !

WTH! just saw the pics, the site says USB 2.0! Kickass !!!
Ok, here's my dilemma. I've previously used an elements and while the four corners are rounded, the surface edges are not. I've found the rounded edges of the passport to be much more comfortable when carrying in a pocket so don't mind paying 200 bucks more for that.
Thing is, the second one says it's a studio edition. Studio is part of the mac line and is supposed to be in silver with an lcd capacity gauge on the side. Should i just go ahead and order it and see what i get? if it's a wrong product, how is HS18's returns policy?
of course. i did call them up, the cc agent said it's usb2.0. i said the elements which is also mentioned as usb2 is actually going out as usb3. he said there's no way to be sure!
