Agreed, More than a few forum Members don't like arguments with Mods, particularly if the subject of discussion is forum / Thread related. These battles about "why did that post get deleted" or "Why am i getting Infractions" or "why did I get banned" can turn messy and turn an otherwise good community into fighting camps.

Looks Like this forum's specifically forbids discussion of mod actions in the forums, and for what reason, whereas all those near and dear ones / blood related go on using this forum as they like ?????

As long as Mods keep prior incidents in a private part of forums reserved for mods / staff only for evidence and records of posters. What does this Term "PREVIOUS RECORDS" means, one gets license to threaten and Abuse just because the so called Authority has been passed on to you from your friends, HELLO, I DID NOT CHOOSE YOU

If one has been a good member of the community for a while, just writing a note to the admin / mod / owner & indicate your intention to play by his / her rules, and sometimes that's the pain with certain ones, because If you feel that you haven't done anything wrong and this mod is picking on you, filing a complaint with the head mod / admin that runs that particular forum, depending on the forum mod structure does not apply because that is taken as RANT & HARASSMENT to the MODS, it could be that a lesser power warned / Infracted you - maybe even who you were arguing with.

I wonder what goes on behind the scenes of TE ???

But on what you say, it is true that some are not happy with the mods. Anyway, i feel the mods should not delete the posts/threads, but rather leave them as they are, just remove any links if it points to unwanted stuff, like today some idiot opened a [FS] thread with a link to an auction.

One of the mods: Captain, we cannot move in that direction, there are too many data packets coming this way. It is slowing us down. Also we are listing badly to starport. also the enemy is closing up on us.

Captain: Mods, man the cannon. Fire away with infractions, and if that does not slow the enemy down, ban them.

to the global mods, start deleting all unwanted posts one by one. we need to correct the ship.[/strike]
 
While sometimes the attitude from other member / Members can be a little grating for me, I just hope for their sake this doesn't happen too often.

Once again this is about the staff here who does not want everyone to feel safe and secure.
 
^Why don't you elaborate the issue at hand instead of making idle threats and vague melodramatic statements ? Otherwise I will close the thread since I see no point to it until now
 
Please mention specifics. All this insinuation without naming names is just making me curious and annoyed for not being in the loop. Sometimes there's nothing more refreshing than airing dirty laundry :food6:

you are Staff No.2 who does not want everyone to feel safe and secure, since there is no communication between mods, i will PM you the Issue

by the way max you can do is close / delete this thread which I / Everyone is aware of so that statement does not give you a good name, no offense.

Additionally, why are you are putting on the chopping block, this is a GT, let everyone make their point, please let TE positively thrive. let our members feel safe.

Why arent you safe here on TE?? Is your account hacked?? Is Kasab here on TE?? Are you been targetted by some mod?? Are you been deliberately given infractions?? Whats the exact point you have to make... Please elaborate, we will be on your side if we find it worthy. But unless you elaborate the issue, not a single person will be backing you in your case... No offense

I agree to this. completely. Not to the @OP or anyone personally or so. But its the best damn thing to do.

One less forum membership doesn't dent your nerd life. nerds forever.
