Well i just realized my fav reseller XFX has quit the green team (loved their products, their box art, packaging, the black pcb, the funky well built hs and covers.) also i have always been a Nvidia fanboy and havent got any ATI products since the old 9800 series which was followed by 7 cards from the green team
Now i want to get the 460 next month but i dont know which partner to choose since the best option is out.
There are 4 options here in India Gigabyte, MSI, Zotac and Palit for the 460, now i dont want to buy MSI since 2 of my colleagues have suffered with their 5870's so that is out of question and these 2 brands Zotac and Palit (i have always avoided their products) appear to me like really cheap ass chinese companies. Well i am judging the companies the way they portray their products (which is ofc incorrect) but seriously u have to see the box art and sticker on their older cards with art that looks like it was made by a 7 year old using crayons. Also i have seen the packaging and its pretty crappy, no styrofoam (like the 8800's) or good solid plastic shell (Evga 260's), just one card in a cardboard box wrapped in an anti static bag.
I would like to see user opinions who have used Palit/zotac cards here. What is the warranty provided and who handles the distribution (rashi/aditya, etc), how is the after sales support ?
Any troubles encountered in their products ?
Please do suggest a card asap , i m just being harsh and judging a book by its cover
