oh and look for a wireless one if u can find it....they are retailing in US for $60

Hey, i'll check with the Delta Peripherals here, if its there i'll get it for you, but i can do so this saturday or nxt saturday. I think the cost of the xbox 360 controller is Rs.1500 here.

Edit: @Ambar:P

There is this big Music store in Ansal Plaza near South Ex that has them. Another Music store in Saket near the PVR stocks them too. You can also try some shops in Nehru place.

Of course they also sell it Palika and I think you could get it a bit cheaper there but I would not buy it from them because they sell Japan/Hong Kong imports and I doubt those have any warranty.

And Happy birthday to the kid.

Its not available anywhere in Nehru Place. Even i was surprised when i went to look for one. Even big ones like SMC and Empire dont have. So i went for the next best thing: Twin Shock Vibration controller. So far hasnt given me any problems.

Twin shock is awesome. Possibly the single most durable controller ever. Mine is still working after nearly three years.

Is this Logitech Dual Action Game pad that U R referring to ? or any other.

^^Does the Xbox 360 controller come with vibration feedback or forcefeedback.... have you used Xbox 360 controller.... If so, how does it compare to the Twinshock one and is it worth the extra moolah

I bought it for Rs. 450 (last month).

It has a PS2 controller layout (dual analog). Different from Xbox/Xbox 360.

Yeah same as shown in eBay.

The thing is the 360 controller is better than the twinshcok ergonomically. Its sticks feel more responsive, its better to hold and the buttons are a hell of a lot better than the twinshock. To that you add the fact that you can get a wireless one. All in all its an excellent controller.

But is it worth the extra money. NO AFAIC.

Lets face it you won't be playing FPS with a controller on the computer, you will use a mouse and keyboard. So all you will use that controller is to play sports titles (PES, FIFA, NBA, Tony hawk), Racing/Driving games (Test drive, NFS, GT etc) or the odd third person action/adventure games (Prince of persia, GTA etc). And having used three differant controllers (twin shock, 360 pad, Logitech fantasy pad) I can say that there is not a lot of differance when you play these type of games.

If you have the moeny go for the 360 pad. But its hard to recommend it for 1500 Rs when you can get the twinshock for 450.

Playing FS with a gamepad would be craptastic though :P, there's barely any travel.
Not to mention you need to reach out with one hand for the keyboard very frequently.

One hand on a stick with the other on a keyboard works best.
