I was happy to receive the mail from flip kart as well stating i get to purchase it a day in advance from the launch day. will get this !!! i remember using miui on my dying Galaxy S1 and it prolonged its life by a year. so looking forward to using this again ..bored of touchwiz bigtime
 
I thought OPO's invites were too many floating around weren't they? I got mine on 9th this month. Was really interested in purchasing if they had this launched in India officially. :(

ZTE sold 52,800 units of its Nubia Z7 in 4 minutes and 36 seconds!
Nubia Z7 is a flagship offering, coming with a 5.5" QHD (2560x1440) touchscreen and being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5 GHz quad-core CPU with 32 GB storage and 3GB of RAM.

I dont remember which post I read it from but one of our members here said from august, all electronic goods prices will fall etc etc. What was that all about, will that impact the xiomi's price as well? Enlighten please, anyone?
 
International Warranty. They claim they will fix phones that are 'bricked' by users flashing new ROMs. This is good.
 
just sold my note 3 to a friend and planing to buy this, but haven't used a anything other than a nokia/htc/samsung before am apprehensive! also i used a 32 gb note 3 +32gb card im wondering if i can live with just 12gb user mem on this phone.
one major question, if the phone works just fine what happens when the battery needs to replaced after about one odd year, when the battery performance starts to reduce?

It is not swappable but I am sure the company may be able to change battery when needed. If it is made available in mass market (like iPhone batteries) then you may even be able to get it replaced at local mobile repair shop (obviously it will be fake like numerous iPhone batteries around).
 
What is the type of SIM slot for the IND version? Standard/ Micro/ Nano?
Mi 3 supports Mini SIM cards, and recommends Micro/Nano SIM card users to use SIM adapter provided

FA had their review piece with the standard SIM.
The box only comes with the phone and charger nothing else!
