YouTube Premium family sharing?

@kuduku i think i cant join as i already had a family setup, read the 4th point "Not be part of another family group". As far as the privacy stuffs, its not shared in-between. And one more thing, if you are setting up, the playstore purchases are shared, you can see there's a toggle in your already purchased apps. Mine's shared with my family setup. So, guys double check on this.

That's what I have been saying . The family group has playstore purchases shared
OMG....Looks like bad news.

What about same residential address....
Not important & enforced . Family can be spread out

Address doesnt matter, its the purchases that are shared. you have to setup the family and sent invite and thats it. You also setup parental privilege, request and payment stuffs.

What about the admin create a brand new account which he didn't purchase any thing - This account is just for do this.

Now the 3rd / 4th / 5th member can have the acesss to the payment system ? If not then it is a Go.

Have an account for this sharing purposes only but then an additional account added in all devices with primary Google account

Apparently we CAN share our purchases in the family group but I have not set it like that so am not sharing anything yet. I just paid for YT premium and added emails.

^^^ So the above means all Good ?
I have this setup done up , added my family Google accounts & they can use my playstore purchases . Never bought YouTube family but had bought YouTube individual account which was not shared .

So your first primary aacount is free of any Group right ?

I don't know about YouTube browsing history but as @gREen confirmed so should be fine
no, its not shared. purchases, calendar and payments are shared.

as for the groups, you cant be on 2 group for sharing.

the best case scenario is, create/old unused account for this account sharing, nothing personal is shared except the usage. thats the best bet. i think, this works better. no worries on sharing other google services. piece of mind.

If admins wants to ? Right - If not then in this screnario all right.

My qustion, Is it like Office 365 Sharing where a mail arrived with invitation link and you click and you are done..

my family settings says purchases, calendar, keep, assistant and cards are shared.
to avoid all hassles and piece of mind, we can use new/old google account solely for YT premium, nothing linked with this account. cause google changes stuffs everytime.

Yes, its just a invite. i cant remember exactly as i setup when they launched in India a long time ago.

So far we established :

- Youtube activity not shared - Check
- Any user account must not be clubbed with other Group - Check
- Sharing stuff (Purchase, Payment Method, Calendar, Photos, etc anything other than YT Premium) is completely depend on the Admin's will - Need Confirmation
- Nobody able to looks at others' activity be it Admin or Invited Users unless they want to share - Check.

I strongly agree with this statement.
