Yep stop worrying so much about whether its an OLED or not. Chances are OLED's are not available anymore since they started replacing them with TFT's in early december. Plus Soulfire has explained the pro's and con's so consider those as well

You can spot the difference between an OLED and TFT phone with naked eyes without switching ON the phone. On the screen of OLED phone you can see a matrix of small dots.

Maybe you can do that, but if the phone is in a sealed box i think there's any way to tell the difference.

i said maybe because im not sure if it is just disabled or absent.

there are other blade variants with 256MB and it's for them; if xdc35 is of that kind then it shall work; one will know if tried.

You're right that applied only to other blade variants. Lets see, if this works for the XCD then it'll become a lot more usable

Re: ZTE Blade aka Orange San Francisco aka Dell XCD35 / 100 GBP / Approx 8.5k in Indi

It was a firmware bug that some blades reported 256MB RAM as available. Actually all blades have 512MB.

im not sure of the matrix dot.

i for one cant notice any.

amoled has better black levels that tft, that is what i can notice rom the looks.

colours look vibrant but that may also be an effect of more lustrous coatings on amoled displays compared to that on tft.

the glass on amoled display would have a little bluish tint which one can notice when the display is off.

the glass on tft is generally clear.

was looking at aramex facebook page where they have suggested this site https://www.entropay.com/ for creating virtual cc

in case sites do not accept indian credit cards. has anybody used it before? maybe this can help one buy the phone from

orange website.
