Hey something off the topic here.

Why are u all really dying to get this phone for 8.5 - 9.5K from all the way from UK through too much hassle?

Look at the comparison between ZTE Blade and LG Optimus One P500. Both are similar specs, except for the Original Blade came with OLED screens and not now anymore.

Certain things to note:

1. You don't get a warranty for the Chinese ZTE Blade

2. Though you might now say LG is from Korea and though they have a bad A.S.S, still you get a one year support and which is upgradeable officially.

3. You can get a P500 for 11.5K shipped from ebay.in, apply a 10% coupon and get it sweeter for 10.3K.

You still win with the LG.

Please i ain't a fan boy of LG at all. I still am stuck with my Nokia 5130XM. I'm Lovin' it. But sure of my next upgrade!

LG optimus One has much lower resolution compared to ZTE Blade.

There are now working coupons available at present for ebay, at least in my knowledge.

For most of us, including me, it is going to be a phone where you can do lots of experiments, play with android features and still get a phone with a decent build quality. So "jitna sasta utna badhiya".

Plus there is an advantage of flashing a phone that is available in India at much higher price. :D

Obviously LG optimus is a great buy for those who want to avoid all these importing hassles and want warranty. While we are still looking for a stable foryo for zte blade LG comes with Foryo. But still "Shikaar kar ke khaane ka maja alag hai".

LG one has only 256mb RAM, whereas ZTE has 512MB ram. and this alone is huge to justify its price

ne1 have a extra zte?? or help me source one .. hopefully with a oled screen? want to gift it to nephew.

LG too got 512mb RAM and its battery life is almost double of Blade.

LG's price is 11.5k. You cant get it for 10.3k as coupons are not valid for deal of the week items. Besides the biggest advantage is the larger screen size, 3.5" with almost double the resolution. And yes the possibility of getting OLED too. Agreed the battery life isnt too great

LG is a clean 512Mb RAM! Gaurish this is the spec mentioned on GSM ARENA. I dont know your source!

I think we are moving away from topic, this is about ZTE Blade and not about LG P500. This is a great deal and LG P500 also is a great deal. Two can be compared in a separate thread if people are confused between the two. :)

On 19th Dec, Didn't knew it was OLED. Came today and found out it ended with 05 and compared with my Earlier delivered white Piece which is a TFT. I can see the diff in Blacks easily

Two more Greys coming it on for 99GBP and one for 115 GBP.keeping my fingers crossed for Grey ones

but in my Honest Opinion the White one Beats the grey/Black hands down in looks and Paint quality..Its looks very different from the phones here. Many a people have asked about my handset after seeing it ;)

My item tracking status still shows "Updating Shipment Status" on Aramex though they have received the product on 31/12/2010 morning. How long does it take them to ship the item on an average? Please advise...

^should be updated by monday evening! 31 was friday, mine was the same case, and they shipped it on monday, it reached mumbai on wednesday and the phone was in my hand the next day, so expect it to be with you before of the end of this week.
