I'm not sure whether to go for this or not :S The LG Optimus One P500 sells for ~11k.

But the P500's is uglier w/ a smaller screen but has warranty, but I'm not sure how good it is.

Im so confused, In how much time does this get delivered?

Any link for OLED version on ebay or anywhere? I can't find one. If anybody finds one - pls post.

The phone is well built in the sense there is no creak in the battery cover and the phone feels good in hand. Much like the older genration htc like touch or p3450. I liked the build quality of this far better than the samsung galaxy 3.

assume that this is no warranty. Orange wont mostly support this.

I did see a couple on ebay, but all of them were selling for about 140 pounds. At office now, so cant access ebay.

There was a system App to know specs. dont remember it.

install task manager/killer.. it will show you available memory.

assume 256MB if available memory is below 200MB.

As far as I know, all versions sold in UK have 512 MB RAM. The TFT and OLED versions are identical except for the display panels.

Nothing like that, but they will surely help you to clear it duty free ( as gift etc ) but they say for electronic items it's dificult to get it cleared as gift although for other items it's possible. Anyway the duty for phones is only 1.3%, will come to less than 100 Rs in this case. :p

well, there is a 2.5-3k diff there. Though to be fair lg support froyo out of the box.

the only thing i am disappointed with zte blade is the volume of the music player and the battery life. else it is a winner all the way

there is 2.2 rom for blade too.

doesn't really matter if it is OOB as long as you are buying a smartfone :) :p

right now am on paul's 2.2 only but the thing is not that stable. crashed thrice within two hours. Work fine as long as you are using the net and stuff.

music player seems to have some problems.

TFT model sold exclusively from WIND in Greece, as ZTE Blade.

According to WIND, there will be an official Android 2.2 upgrade for ZTE Blade in the next couple of months.

Guys, you're getting a phone better than LG Optimus One (3.5in screen, WVGA, OLED if you're lucky) for 70% of the price. As long as it works without any problem and need of warranty doesn't arise, its a no brainer. Custom Roms will be available for Gingerbread too in 2-3 months (a very early unusable rom is already available).

All Blades in UK AFAIK have 512MB RAM, so either you'll get a TFT version or OLED version, depending on your luck (mostly TFT), rest all remains the same. Only Greek ones and several other countries have 256MB RAM.

Yes, you have to use G B NAGAR and not noida or Ghaziabad, put in your PIN as 201301 or 201309 which one is applicable....

^ 201309 is mapped to g b nagar while 201301 is mapped to ghaziabad, so it wont work for 201301 i am guessing.

alternatively you can select 'collect from aramex office' to skip the hassle
