I bought an item for 25K during the summer promotion. Now how do I redeem the gift?
It was supposed to start from 5th june... has anyone redeemed yet?
There is not a single mention on the site.

If you want to get banned permanently from eBay then do this.

They will block :
someone as same name
your family members
same addresses
net banking, credit / debit banking details.
 
^ Well, I use random names, addresses and phone numbers at the time of registration. :p And never use a debit card / credit card, always prefer netbanking as no identifying information is passed on to eBay after the payment. But in case of debit or credit card, you need to enter the details on eBay itself which makes it easy for them to block.

Have close to 60-70 ebay accounts I guess! ;)
 
I have 35 accounts approx. Know someone who had 170-180 accounts.

If they find something, like an delivery address which can linked, then BOOM !

just sharing here later to say "I told you so" :p

I have always paid through netsafe , have around 40 a/cs , my two mango orders have been shipped , i used a disposable email for one of the the two orders

My name & address at the time of registration usually looks like this " dgdgsdghsdhsdfgh"
 
^ They do ban credit cards / debit cards linked to multiple accounts. My CC is in their blacklist. Whichever order I pay using my CC, the acount gets suspended immediately.

Hence use a Virtual CC like Netsafe as suggested by @Arjun or stick to Netbanking.

1. what happens in the case of debit cards where card details are entered on the bank's site? safe to use same card for multiple accounts?

2. in case of a suspended account, do you get your money back if payment is been done for an item?

wtf..........I thought I have max accounts on ebay(approx 8-9)

1. That should be fine I guess. I was talking about cards which you have to enter the details on eBay itself ie Visa / Mastercard debit and credit cards.

2. You will get a refund for sure. Some sellers even ship the item. Even though the account is suspended you can still login and confirm item receipt etc.
