Guys, buying a game from Amazon, but its asking for the billing address to be a US one, I can use my friends US address and pay with my Indian CC? or is it safer to ask him to make the purchase?
 
You can add any US address and pay through your CC. Just remember that some states will charge extra taxes. These states are :

  • Arizona
  • California
  • Kansas
  • Kentucky
  • New York
  • North Dakota
  • Pennsylvania
  • Texas
  • Washington
Just give a valid address in any other state and you should be fine.

For $20 yes. 17 games included.

Edit- I already own BL, but considering the 'Crazy Action Pack' that has BL GOTY which contains 4 DLCs, not sure if I will own 2 copies of BL in that case.

Also considering the Deep Silver Power pack vol2 and the Bioshock 1&2 bundle, any idea if the spec ops is worht $5?

Spec Ops is very short, I finished it in one day, about 5-6 hours? The ending is a bit different, but the gameplay is fairly generic third person shooter. I got this pack when I had $5 credit, so $5 for Bioshock 1 and 2 and Spec Ops was worth it. About the Deep Silver pack, Dead Island is region locked, doesn't activate in EU. I don't know if it activates in India though. Saints Row 2 on the PC is a buggy mess. $10 for the whole pack would have been good, $17 is somewhat expensive considering the risky Dead Island.

Thanks for the response JC, the Bioshock 1&2 is for $5, when you add Spec ops to the package, the bundle costs $9.99, just wanted to know if Spec ops is worth the $5.

Saints Row the third has decent ratings, just wondering if it would be worth it.

Also Crysis 2 for $8, buy or wait for steam sale? I already own Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Wars.
 
Yeah, Spec Ops is not worth $5 imho. Saints Row 3 is awesome, I had lots of fun with it. It usually goes for $7.49 with all DLCs in Steam sales, might even go lower in Amazon later. Crysis 2 is worth max $5, that was my biggest preorder regret.Probably should wait for a better deal.

Just as an FYI, tomorrow is the day the big Rockstar and other deals start. There is Max Payne 3 and LA Noire Complete for $10 and some other awesome Max Payne 3 combos.

If the last winter sale on Steam is any indication, Steam won't better Amazon deals. The Steam sale is only good for getting tradable copies of games. Other outlets offer much better deals nowadays.
 
Hmmmmm. There aren't a lot of games that I'm interested in this sale.
I'm looking at Bioshock 1 and 2 bundle, Crysis maximum edition (maximum maximum bundle is good too) and Max Payne 3. There are so many Max Payne 3 bundles. Is there one with MP1, 2 and 3? I already have LA Noire and don't want GTA IV.
The other reason to skip this sale is I don't want to change my billing address and stuff to buy it. :p

Crysis and Bioshock bundles will surely be around the same price in Steam sale, they are old games. I'd pick up Tomb Raider and Grid 2 if they go for cheap then. :p

I'm cursing myself for missing out on Mass Effect 3 though. :/
 
No, there are no MP 1, 2 and 3 bundle, but you can get MP2 for $2.5. But I think Steam offers MP1 and 2 for $3.74 fairly often. Regarding the Crysis bundle, most if not all EA games from Amazon will activate on Origin and not Steam, something to keep in mind. And you don't have to change your credit card billing address, just the address in your Amazon account. You can then add any Credit Card and buy stuff.

Tomorrow, the last day of the sale, will also see the biggest discounts on other games. Might wait for that.
