it saddens me . hmt had such a potential.
mechanical watches, in house movement, nice designs with unique (indian) sensibility , a touch of history, affordability.
they could have had a a niche market - within India and without.

Its not available in Chennai. Its no more produced by HMT.

You can search for ADSL Models too (both ADSL and NASL are no more produced by HMT), if you are lucky you can find an old one sitting in their showrooms.
I could get hold of ADSL 02 ( 3 of them) yesterday in Chennai and one ADSL 04.
regarding that site, Prices seems to be from an old price list.
Is that site even functional? I dont see any contact details, its office details, whats the name of the company running the site, nothing is provided.
Tried creating an account and ordering. They do not have COD. Payment gateway is of some other site called jadeblue.com.

Yes it is,in other showrooms. It can be brought to a showroom near you if you ask them nicely enough.
