Finished another nice season of blue bloods (another one of now extinct @dipen01 's great recos)The best thing about this show is that its normal and about the normal people like you and me, there is nothing surreal or larger than life about it, No glorification of crime either. The show depicts day to day lives of An American family which entirely is into law and order business. Its kind of a procedural but the crime is hardly the most important issue, the tackling of it is.The show is a very good "system cleaner", whenever u r buzzed after watching shows like Hannibal,Dexter,Six feet under, true detective, or the strain (in short Morbid,Lots of gore and killing, glorification of evil, though all of the shows are brilliant and i rate them way above blue bloods) its recommended that you watch few episodes of blue bloods, it will bring you back into reality. You wont be so bored though, some good writing and Tom Selleck & Bridget Moynahan's excellent acting will keep you hooked.

There seems to be a lot of hate for Arrow. I But many people have said it gets better in season 2 so am trying to continue. I am halfway through S1 and feel it's just a tad better than OK. I just feel that the stakes are never too high and the motivations of characters are never enough. I was excited about the DC characters cameos, but most of characters didn't seem properly fleshed out.

Completed Californication's final season. What can I say, it was f*cking hilarious, except for the finale episode, which was cheesy and horrible. I'm going to miss this show. Regardless of shitty it became towards the end, it was still one of the wittiest cable shows out there.

Also done with Black Sails and like Da Vinci's Demon's, I'm not impressed. I feel STARZ is really struggling to get a good show post Spartacus. Looks like it will be a while before they get one.

Anyhoo, going to pick up Firefly for this weekend. I have already got hold of Serenity. Now, my question is, should I watch it on the order it was meant to be or in the order of it's release?
