Buying from US - Best Deals - Discussion Thread

It came to around 5.5k per unit. Shipping via Aramex SnS Flexi came to 2.6k (2 kg) Customs came to Rs 800 + Rs 531 (handling charge) (Declared it at 20 USD itself) I think if you use Planet Express with their Premium Mailbox, order 4 units or so, consolidate as one package, I guess after...

Got one package of Linksys LN1301 delivered today. Seems like a pretty solid device. The weight was indeed ~ 2 kg and the dimensions were as I mentioned earlier. The packaging itself would have added some 500 gm to the weight  Didn't get a chance to play around yet, but...

Cheapest way to keep BSNL mobile active?

Grace Period 1 and 2. Once your pack expires, you are moved to GP1 for 7 days and after that to GP2. Not sure about the GP2 validity, but it is couple of months, but you won’t get any calls or messages. After GP2 they can reclaim your number.

Cheapest way to keep BSNL mobile active?

I have a BSNL SIM which I mainly use for incoming calls, and I've been recharging with Rs 201, which gives 90 days validity with some calls and data that are valid for the 90 days. It is available only for those in GP-2 so once the current pack expires, I just wait till I move to GP-2 and then...

Does the Flipkart "Open Box Delivery" include actually testing the item ? (monitor in this case)

This I feel is an issue with the pickup process (not the fault of the person doing the pickup, but the process itself). There should be checks to verify that the product returned is same as what was delivered. While I understand that a pickup person is not qualified to ensure all this, the...

The details of ONU authenticated by OLT (Syrotech EPON) for PPPoE BSNL Fiber connection

@SR007 There are two checks and are separate. One is the ONT authenticating with the OLT. For EPON, maybe only the serial is checked. In my past experience, my LCO didn’t have any checks on EPON, I could just swap the ONT and it would work. After he switched to GPON, there is the GPON serial...

Reliance Jio introduces new unlimited 5G plans to be available from 3rd July

Yes, my postpaid plan also got switched from 199 to 299. The message said UL 5G will not work, however post plan change, I do see the UL 5G addon listed in the Jio app. It might get removed in a couple of months maybe.

    Need Inverter and Battery help

I had a good experience with this V-Guard inverter. I mainly got it for the smart features. It works great, no issues seen. The smart features also work perfectly. I live in a flat so can't use the solar features, but installing 1-2 panels in say an individual house would definitely help in case...

Buying from US - Best Deals - Discussion Thread

@anmolbhard004 Just FYI, they ship it as separate packages (multi piece shipment) even when there are multiple units in a single order, so you need to use consolidation or forward it as-is as individual packages. Also the dimensions of the packaging of 1 unit is 13x11x6 (inch) with a weight of...
